Thorny Edge Producing great bulls is like putting a puzzle together. There are a lot of pieces and just one or two missing don't work. Everything about Thorny Edge is just right on target. You know his grand dam Silent Iron (113") and his dam is a maternal sister to DCC Futurity winner Next Rush. It possibly could be better, but then no one but Russell Freeman could afford him. DCC can't take 6 bulls to every futurity just because they could win?
